Computed Radiography and Direct Radiography for any X-ray units

Computed radiography (CR) systems are using special x-ray cassettes with photo-stimulated luminescence screens to capture the X-ray image, instead of regular X-ray film. Direct digital radiography (DR) systems are using flat panels detectors consisting of a detection layer deposited over an active matrix array of thin film transistors and photodiodes.
